Brother to Emma and Doralice. Taken care by Bel until rescued. Saibot's son but no longer cares about his Pãe. Momma's boy (he is really close to my mother). Idolizes Dali. Damn crackhead, if we give him any special food he will bother us for months asking for more.He may be a part of the Council but he does not hold the rank of Elder.
Finding their mother:
One day my neighbor found a kitten (Luke) on a construction site one block away from my house and told me she heard some meowing but couldn't locate it, and thought it was inside some pipes there. I went to the construction site and found Bel, who was about 4 months old, protecting Emma and Doralice. I picked them up and then I stopped by my neighbor to show I found them and that I was going to keep them, so I asked if she would give me Luke too so they could still be together and she agreed.
In my room they met Saibot, who promptly welcomed them and started taking care of them, to the point they started nursing on him and Saibot just let it happen and became their mother.
Later I went back to the construction site and found the workers (who were off for lunch when I went there previously) and asked about the kittens. They told me they had been there for a few days and they didn't see any other cat (I was still worried about some kitten lost in the pipes, or if they had a mother with them).
Momma's Boy is a Crackhead:
When Luke was little he had something I don't remember the name of, but he had a lot of trouble gaining weight, so my mom would take him to her bathroom to give him a wet cat food pouch... time passed, he was happy and chubby, we cut the wet food supply, and he went crazy with the withdrawal! Always meowing at the door, jumping, running to the bathroom whenever my mom opened the door, it went like that for months.
So we have a lot of cats, and whenever one is needing special care we do that in my mom's bathroom, and he can smell from very far that we are opening a pouch and he goes crazy and starts screaming and banging at the door, but the worst part is that a lot of times we cave in and give him a little, and then he goes super crazy demanding it every day nonstop for months, like he is going through withdrawal all over again, so we need to stay steadfast and not give in!
Anyway, it seems like this memory of getting wet food every day in the bathroom became engraved, he developed a really close relationship with my mother, and whenever she goes to the bathroom he runs in and starts being all gracious, rolling on the floor, throwing himself at her, being playful.
However, even though he likes her way more than me, I guess he became used to sleeping in my room, and I don't even need to call him when I'm going to sleep, he notices it and runs to my bed.
All the Toys Belong to Him:
We fold plastic bags before storing them (you know, making those small triangles?) and this is his favorite toy ever. Whenever we are folding plastic bags he tries to catch them from our hands and he wants us to throw them, and can actually play catch with him because he will bring them back for you throw them again. He also love hair ties and crumpled receipts. Luke is very playful, but he doesn't like when other cats start playing with his toys, he is very possessive.
He leaves his toys everywhere, especially inside food bowls, and whenever we clean the house and push the couch there's a pile of them underneath. Since the couch lining was torn in one corner, we once bought some fabric to redo it, and when we flipped the couch over to rip out the old lining, we found the treasure chest: hundreds of plastic bags, crumpled paper, plastic bottle caps, pen caps, rubber balls, everything he'd collected over the years, all stuffed inside the couch. He was distressed when we started picking it all up, in complete disbelief, you could see the pain in his eyes as he watched a lifetime of work being destroyed.
Enough is Enough:
The Barbarian Invasion was very tough on him, he couldn't accept when they started moving into the house, when they started playing with his toys, and it was even worse when Bonnie and Petite moved into my room, but when Zezé also did it was the last straw, and just like Dali did when Luke and his siblings moved in, Luke also moved to my mom's room.
